      • SUPPORTED ZIEGLER-NATTA CATALYSTS FOR ETHYLENE SLURRY POLYMERIZATION AND CONTROL OF MOLECULAR WEIGHT

        The effect of chemical composition of highly active supported Ziegler-Natta catalysts with controlled morphology on the MWD of PE has been studied.It was shown the variation of transition metal compound in the MgCI2-supported catalyst affect of MWD of PE produced in broad range:Vanadium-magnesium catalyst(VMC)produce PE with broad and bimodal MWD(Mw、Mn=14-21).MWD of PE,produced over titanium-magnesium catalyst(TMC) is narrow or medium depending on Ti content in the catalyst(Mw/Mn=3.1-4.8).The oxidation state of the initial titanium compounds in TMC has only slight effeCt on MWD of PE produced.Based on MWD data of PE heterogeneity of active centers of TMC and VMC was studied.The results of resolution of experimental GPC curves into Flory components indicated three Flory components are snfficient to describe MWD curve of PE,produced with TMC:six Flory components are required in the case of VMC.In the case of copolymerization of ethylene with 1-hexene over TMC the addition of 1-hexene leads to decrease of MW and to slight effect on Mw/Mn values.On the contrary the strong effect of 1-hexene on MWD of PE produced over VMC was found:the introduction of 1-hexene results in considerable broadening of MWD due to the shifting of the main MWD peak tO low MW region.At that comonomer does not affect the position of high molecular weight shoulder The results indicate that some of active centers of VMC producing high MW polymer are not active in the reaction of chain transfer with comonomer....

      • Micro-arc oxidization fabrication and ethanol sensing performance of Fe-doped TiO2 thin films

        In-situ pure TiO2 and Fe-doped TiO2 thin films were synthesized on Ti plates via the micro-arc oxidation (MAO) technique.The as-fabricated anatase TiO2 thin film-based conductometric sensors were employed to measure the gas sensitivity to ethanol.The results showed that Fe ions could be easily introduced into the MAO-TiO2 thin films by adding precursor K4(FeCN)6·3H2O into the Na3PO4 electrolyte.The amount of doped Fe ions increased almost linearly with the concentration of K4(FeCN)6·3H2O increasing,eventually affecting the ethanol sensing performances of TiO2 thin films.It was found that the enhanced sensor signals obtained had an optimal concentration of Fe dopant (1.28at%),by which the maximal gas sensor signal to 1000 ppm ethanol was estimated to be 7.91at 275℃.The response time was generally reduced by doped Fe ions,which could be ascribed to thc increase of oxygen vacancies caused by Fe3+ substituting for Ti4+....

      • Preparation and Methanol Decomposition Activity of Ruthenium Supported Ce-Doped Mesoporous TiO2 Oxid

        Mesoporous TiO2-CeO2 mixed oxide(m-TiO2-CeO2) were synthesized using n-cetylpyridinium chloride (C16PyCl) as a structure-directing agent under the neutral conditions and room temperature. The synthesized mesoporous samples were characterized by FT-IR, XRD, and N2 adsorption BET methods. The incorporation of Ce3+ ions into the channel wall improves the stability of the mesoporous structure obviously. After ruthenium being loaded by the impregnating method, the Ru particle strongly interacts with the mesoporous mixed supports. Although a part of the particles are possible to block the support pores, the catalytic activity of ruthenium supported on the m-TiO2-CeO2 for methanol decomposition to carbon monoxide and hydrogen is significantly higher than that of ruthenium supported on m-TiO2. A synergistic effect between CeO2 and TiO2 was observed for promoting the catalytic properties of Ru....

      • Coating mechanism of nano-TiO2 films on the surface of ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin particles

        A new type of mineral composite was made by calcined coal kaolin.The interaction mechanism of an inorganic modification reagent TiOSO4 with the surface of ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin particles (substrate) was studied by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.The results show that chemisorption exists in the phase boundary between the modification agent and the substrate surface,while physical adsorption occurs on the modification layers of hydrate titanium dioxide.The interaction force was calculated and analyzed according to DLVO theory between ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin particles and hydrate titanium dioxide nano-particles in the modification system.It is shown that the both electrostatic force and van der Waals force are attractive,and the coacervation between ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin particles and hydrate titanium dioxide nano-particles leads to the coating of hydrate titanium dioxide on the surface of ultra-fine calcined coal kaolin particles....

      • Treating dye wastewater by TiO2 coated on coal cinder

        We investigated the photocatalytic degradation of dye wastewater by using titanium dioxide (TiO2) coated on a coal cinder. The coal cinder was used as the carrier, with a thin film of TiO2 coated on it by using the sol-gel method. Using the Congo red as the model pollutant for dye wastewater, we studied the decolorization efficiency, and effects of TiO2 film thickness and roasting temperature on the efficiency. We also evaluated the recycling and regeneration of the immobilized TiO2 (TiO2/cinder). Results show that the decolorization rate of Congo red solution was more than 98% after 2 h treatment when we used TiO2/cinder calcined at 500 °C for 2 h and coated four times as the photocatalyst. At the same time, the TiO2/cinder remained high catalytic activity after being reused and regenerated for many times....

      • PBT耐水解催化劑的催化活性及耐水解性能研究

        在鈦酸四丁酯(TBT)的1,4-丁二醇(BDO)溶液中加入絡合劑制備了合成聚對苯二甲酸丁二醇酯(PBT)用絡合型耐水解催化劑(RwC),并通過水解和間歇聚合實驗研究了催化劑RWC的催化活性及耐水解性能.結果表明:催化劑RWC具有較好的耐水解性能,在常溫下放置7d或196℃高溫下均未出現水解現象,而常規催化劑TBT在常溫下即出現水解白色絮狀沉淀物;催化劑RWC具有與TBT相當的催化性能,分別用TBT,RWC催化劑,所制得PBT試樣的特性黏數分別為1.006,0.992 dL/g,端羧基含量分別為25.4,30.5 mmol/kg,產品質量接近....
